In September 2009, Living Green designed a rainwater harvesting system for Engen Garages. The design concept involved the capture of rainwater from the forecourt and main building roofs. Water is stored before being used for washing cars, other cleaing, and irrigation. 
 
Living Green runs a comprehensive food garden project in the southern Peninsula. Using the Foundations for Farming curriculum, communities are being supported in food security and sustainable agriculture. 
 
In partnership with Eco-Facilities, Living Green has submitted an exciting tender to green part of the Cape Flats. Tafelsig 2 is a small community of 205 homes in Mitchell's Plain. The council tender is to run an awareness program to educate the community about the environment.

The second part of the tender is to work with the community and install fruit trees, veg gardens, and compost systems for each household.
 
 
Living Green has put together a rainwater harvesting 'kit' with the Global Warming Store, to be retailed nationally through the Penny Pinchers chain of stores. 
 
In May 2009, Living Green conducted research on behalf of an economic development initiative in southern Mozambique. The brief was to design a procedure for the socially and environmentally sensitive economic development of the region. 
 
Living Green is part of the exciting and ever-growing Planting Season movement, a national drive to get South Africans to plant together on 20 March 2010. 
 
Domestic clients have received high quality 3D designs and installations for vegetable gardens, compost systems, and recycling systems.
